Pressure Vessel

 

The pressure vessel is used for the storage of fluids in various industries under maintained pressure. The liquids are stored under pressure to accommodate large volumes of fluids in a small vessel. Pressure vessels are used for the storage of fluids in the insecticides, petroleum and pharmaceutical industry. The pharmaceutical pressure vessel is used to store the chemicals under high pressure. Pressure vessels are generally made of steel hence called stainless steel pressure vessel. The maximum pressure under which a fluid can be stored depends upon the diameter of the vessel. Pressure vessel is manufactured from a variety of materials such as stainless steel 304, 304 L, 316, 316 L, 317 and 317 L quality. The vessels are lined on the inner side with materials like Teflon. Surface of the vessel is electro-polished for the easy cleaning and removal of dust. In addition to this, protection skirts are provided to protect the vessel from any damage while moving them. The pressure vessel has a stainless steel jacket which increases the heat flow in the passages. Pressure vessel is also used to charge the gases and liquids under pressure. Equipped with microprocessor based temperature control and digital indicators it becomes very easy to monitor the temperature and pressure in the vessel.
